FEBRUARY 28
Vivian and Joe Satriani will be the featured guests on the nationally syndicated radio show ROCKLINE airing Wednesday, March 15. Viv will be interviewed about his solo album "TWO SIDES OF IF" and might even bring his guitar to play some songs live in the studio. FEBRUARY 11
Here's another chance to win a great electric guitar with Viv's autograph! Vivian has signed a vintage Sunburst Epiphone Les Paul Studio guitar donated by Gibson to Create Now!, a charity that helps troubled kids in Los Angeles through creative arts mentoring.

NOVEMBER 8
On November 13, charity organization Create Now! is having an benefit event at the Improv Comedy Club in Hollywood, which includes an auction that gives you the chance to bid on a Gibson Epiphone Les Paul signed by Vivian, plus a private guitar lesson from Viv. Among the other items auctioned, are various pieces of art and another Les Paul, signed by Slash (Velvet Revolver). The evening will be hosted by Debra Wilson ("MAD-TV") and many comedians will attend (Carlos Mencia, Mark Curry, Steve Trevino, Tony Rock, among others). For all details on the event, click here.
Create Now! is an independent, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, changing troubled children's lives through creative arts mentoring. The organization serves institutionalized high-risk and at-risk children and youth aged 2 to 21 who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, are left homeless, runaways, or part of the juvenile justice system.

NOVEMBER 6
The Holiday 2005 issue of Guitar World features Vivian in GW's monthly 60 MINUTES, in which guitarists list their favorite or most important songs of all time. Subtitled "the Def Leppard guitarist talks about the songs that helped him fore his path to rock and roll glory", the article has Vivian talking about the following songs:

OCTOBER 8
For those who can't get enough of the 12 songs on "TWO SIDES OF IF"; two new songs are now available! Vivian's version of Muddy Waters' "BLOW WIND BLOW" is an exclusive bonus track to the album as it is available on Yahoo! Music, and the song can now be purchased for 99 cents exclusively through Yahoo! Music.
Another, different bonus track is included with the version of the album that is available on iTunes: "STOP MESSIN' ROUND" was originally recorded by Fleetwood Mac, and Vivian's version can now be purchased for 99 cents exclusively through the iTunes Music Store.

SEPTEMBER 27
Today you can finally rush to your favorite record store to pick up a copy of "TWO SIDES OF IF"! Or, if it's sold out, not available, your record store sucks, there is no store nearby, or if you're lazy, you can order it online.
Now that the album has been released, doesn't mean we won't update this site anymore.....we'll keep going, so don't forget to check back regularly!

SEPTEMBER 24
On Thursday September 29th, Vivian will make an guest appearance with CAMP FREDDY at the Key Club in Los Angeles. Camp Freddy consists of Dave Navarro, Matt Sorum, Billy Morrison, Donovan Leitch and Chris Chaney, and they will perform with a number of guests, including Vivian who will play lead guitar on two songs. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross.

SEPTEMBER 17
On Wednesday, September 28, there will be a one-off chance to see the (almost) exact same line-up that recorded Viv's album LIVE at The Mint in Los Angeles. Vivian will be joined on stage by Terry Bozzio, Bruce Cornett, Michael Fell, Tor Hyams and Lou Castro at 9 PM. Mark Browne, who plays bass on the album, isn't available and will be replaced by Lou Castro for this occasion. Tickets are available at the venue, and can be purchased through GrooveTickets soon.
